Plasma

Plasma, the PhiIon way

is created using a formation of tiny dots near and running along tension lines on the skin which triggers an instant contraction and tightening of the skin. Resulting in a rejuvenating, lifted effect

Why PhiIon?

PhiAcademy is highly recognised and reputable in the industry of permanent makeup and treatments, with the introduction of PhiIon the revolutionary method is capable of performing procedures and achieving results comparable to cosmetic surgery.

What can it be used to treat?

  • Lines and wrinkles
  • Eyelid correction
  • Neck lift
  • Jowl Lift
  • Crows Feet
  • Marionette lines
  • Stretchmarks
  • Age Spots
  • Skin Tag removal
  • Scars, including Acne Scarring

What to Expect

A sequence of dots will be placed in a particular order to create a tightening effect to the skin. The Plasma reaction alerts the Fibroblast within the Dermis to collect the correct collagen and elastin to heal the area. This is turn will help to rebuild the Dermis fibres creating a much more rejuvenated and lifting effect. You may notice a smell during your treatment and this is completely normal. For some, there is a small level of discomfort with the treatment however, a numbing cream will be applied to the area prior to treatment.

After Treatment

Following your treatment the skin may be a little swollen and small carbon crusts (similar to a scab) will be visible in the treatment area. You may wish for some down time around days 1-4 to allow for your skin to heal and your skin may be a little red and swollen. The small dots will remain for 5-7 days before falling off, so you may wish to have a full weeks downtime following the treatment if you do not wish to go out with small crusts on your face. During the first 1-7 days you should not use any products on your face other than what is given to you in your aftercare kit. You can not get the area wet until the carbon crusts have dropped off from the skin. Every clients skin is different and all clients will experience a different level of swelling. Some clients may suffer some additional swelling and discomfort following their treatment and may require some paracetamol and ibuprofen to aid with the discomfort. You can take an antihistamine however, they do not often aid in the the reduction of the fluid as it is not a histamine reaction. Aftercare guidance and creams will be provided and tailored to each treatment.

Is One Treatment Enough?

Sometimes more than one treatment may be required for the desired effects. When treating an area more than once there needs to be a 4 month delay before the next treatment; this is to ensure your skins healing is complete. Some areas such as the eyes can only be treated in stages. It is not possible to treat eyelids, crows feet and lower eye area in one sitting and will need to be carried out in two sittings.
